With the really lousy forecast it has been decided to move the St Croix Valley Raceway Arrive & Drive, Test n Tune, swap meet to next saturday oct 12 from 11am-4?pm. Everything will be the same.

As of Wed, the forecast for saturday is looking good, partly cloudy and mid 60s. Remember drivers to bring all your safety equipment and a set of earbuds to plug into the raceceivers for on track instructions.

Due to a race in Missouri there will not be any micro sprints available to drive at the Arrive and Drive Saturday. They will try to coordinate an event in the spring. Everything else is a go and all cars are welcome for the practice and the arrive and drive for the traditional sprint cars is on as planned. Ron will be getting the track prepared Friday and back at it early on Saturday morning. Pits open at 10. Also all current traditional drivers are encouraged to come out and test drive Rick Kobs car with the LS motor package with no charge for the laps they run.

The LS motor is a 5.3 ltr Vortec motor they put together and put in a non wing car. They ran it a few times this year on a experimental basis. I believe the thought is to phase these motors in as another option. I don't have a lot of info on the specs of this thing but have heard a few rumors about it that I won't bring up on here. I was told that there will be a drivers meeting on Nov 2 and this car and motor will be one of the things discussed.
I saw the pic of your car, looks good, and I look forward to meeting you out there next spring. If not before.
