I know that this forum is visited by quite a few of the PA fans and I was curious if some of you with technical expertise could give me a hand. What is the difference between a 358 and ASCS 360? Costs? # of Races before a refreash? I am not familiar with the 358's

the 358 is a Iron headed mill, to my understanding the port work has gotten to flow better if not the equivilent of the ASCS head, (im from the Midwest) I dont get the chance to see the 358 at all, Im guessing the costs and refresh are almost the same, the spectrum of head combinations is much more broad with the 358, but, not as nationwide to compete in as compaired to the ASCS 360, this would be a intresting race to mix the two, anybody in PA have #'s to confirm one prodominantly faster than the other? isnt there a SQ FT limitation on the 358 less than 25 sq ft?

PA358:
Flat top pistons only, no domes or dishes. Zero deck height.
Maximum compression ratio of 10.80:1 as measured by Whistler gauge.
Cast iron block and cast iron OEM heads.
They don't even know how to spell sprint car
