I am very suprised to see the Short Track Nationals in Little Rock has an exclusive club to camp. As a fan, you can't just pull up and camp. You have be on a special list and/or know someone. How the hell is a first time fan supossed to camp!!!! Can I park my car there for the race or is that VIP as well?
I have never heard of a situation like this in my life and I have been going to races for 30+ years.
My current plan is too pull up and just find a spot to camp but someone said they will tow you if you don't have a camping sticker? I guess I will find out how they will tow my 30 ft. camper!!!! Can someone tell me what the camping sticker looks like so I could make one at home??? I am exploring all optoins so I can camp at or less than a mile from the track.
Very frustrated fan!!!!

And yes I have trying for months to get a reserved spot but like I said..... no dice as it's for exclusive members. No room for new fans.

Look at the track on Google Earth. There simply isn't any room...

There is no "club." It's just like Knoxville and the chili bowl. Thosof that had spots last year have a deadline in which to renew loosest them to someone on the waiting list.

I know what you mean I drove to Houston 1 time to take a cruise and they turned me away said I had to have reservations that I couldnt just walk on. Went to Knoxville nationals same thing said they were sold out no room. Same thing at super bowl like 4 years in a row. Ha Ha STN campsites have been sold out for several years at renewal time I think August you got to get the sp[ots that are avl. quick.

I have "NEVER" been to an event where first timers can't get a campsite. Been to over 40 different Sprint Car tracks and this will be a first. Been to Knoxville and as a first timer got a campsite. This track needs to accomodate the fans. I understand limited spaces, then do it fair for everybody! I don't stay in a hotel at racing events, I camp.

So by tour rationale those of us that have had chili bowl tickets for years should lose our tickets and them be put up for first come first serve..
good luck with that one.

We are going to the Chili Bowl in January and this is our first trip and yes we got tickets.
Yes, if you can't accomodate new fans, tickets/camp sites should go on sale on a date so all can purchase just not returning customers.
Name me an event where you can't get any tickets or can't camp as a first timer?

If there are only 80 spots there are only 80 spots. Even if you open it up, when they are gone they are gone and somebody, likely a first timer, is gonna be left out. Then what? The people that have supported the event from the start should have priority. I would suspect that those chili bow tickets you got we're the result of someone not renewing. i missed out on a camp site at Knoxville a few yrs ago because they were all gone. So when I did get one, I haven't let it go. Even if we don't go I still pay for it so I don't lose it...
I would suggest you call red gate liquor in Benton, ar and ask if they are having camp spots again this year.

Possible olution.
Glad Brad is on here.
Glad Brad lives in Benton.
I believe Glad Brad is also an alderman for the City of Benton, Ar.
And like the gal in the Western Sky commercial for the 800% loan says, "problem solved!"

You guys are missing the point. This is not the Superbowl, a cruise in Houston, a Rolling Stones concert or even the Chili Bowl. I am not even speaking about tickets.... this is about camping which is very common occurance at a sprint car race. I have never had this problem in PA, NorCal or the Midwest. I guess I am used to 410's and the WoO which has proper accomodations for the fans....... I don't see the 360's much and maybe this is the norm.
When Eldora and Winchester (IN) ran out of camping, they rented out the farmer field next door. Other tracks have figured this out such as Knoxville... you may be 1 or 2 miles from the track but they have space for everyone. Please tell me another short track in the nation that doesnt have ample camping for the fans??
My solution is get away from the exclusive club of 80 campers and open up additional space to the public. What is this, a private golf course? I guess I am used to the rest of the country where there is ample camping for the fans!
Frustrated Fan!!!!!

Thanks for the Liquor Store idea. Our current plan is to just show up and hopefully we will figure something out. We are big 410 fans but love the bullrings and want to check this race out for something different.

While I understand your frustration, let me be clear.... There isn't anything to open up To campers. The camping already takes up 1/2 the parking lot.

Maybe i stead of talking shit u need to keep quiet & wait till you see what ur workin with cuz when u show up there u will c what were talking about. It has nothing to do with 410/360 or association. I e seen u post before that the one of those big races out in cali is the biggest 360 race in the country, hate to dissapoint but this we be the biggest specticle for 360's. I live less than 10 mins from track & are the mayor of alexander & live closer than glad brad who is alderman of benton

about a third of a mile down the road to the motorcycle track has plenty of camping and........bus you back and forth. no need to stress, the event is worth the wait, trust me!
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
