I44 Riverside Speedway Presents The 14th Annual Mini Sprint Nationals!

?#‎Restore44? Volume 5
Monday, July 15th, 2013
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

What a difference a week can make. Last Thursday, Pole Position Raceway hosted the #Restore44 fundraiser, a four hour gathering reminiscent of what we’ve all been missing every Saturday since May 18th.

Pole Position’s fundraising effort led by point man Greg Slaton has officially transformed racing in Oklahoma City. With great affection to the racing community - we officially confirm and announce the reopening of Oklahoma City’s last remaining auto racing venue.

The devastation wrought on central Oklahoma in the last 11 days in May has been seen and heard by tens of millions around the world. All over the world - they can look again and see what it really means to be Oklahoma Strong.

Just hours after the #Restore44 Fundraiser, Riverside promoter Mark Banister finalized a deal with Cowtown Speedway to purchase all track lighting and supplemental PA items. By next week the sky over Riverside will be lit for the first time since May.

What few thought possible May 21st now builds like an unstoppable force. Mount up racers - it’s time for Nationals!

On Friday, August 2nd I44 Riverside Speedway reopens with night one of the 14th running of the Mini Sprint Nationals before closing out the weekend with the first Saturday night finale in nearly three months.
