World of Outlaws photos have been uploaded to gotomn.com over a week after the race took place. I spent last week vacationing attending three nights of racing, two and a half days rebuilding and painting my shed and the rest of the week at the family lake home. I put an exclamation mark on my bittersweet week of vacation by giving my camera a four foot drop test. The ground might have won. I couldn't get it to work at the track, brought it home and tried again Sunday and was able to take some pics. This camera body has already exceeded it's estimated shutter life so it's going to be a race by race deal for the remainder of the season. I've got a spare D70 body that stopped working and Nikon fixed for free because there were some defective D70's from their first run when it came out that they covered for free. That one has never worked right since they refurbished it so it's not a long term solution. I plan on finishing out the remainder of this season by stumbling through with what I've got then we'll make plans for next year. I'll blog about my three race weekend and camera situation later this week as time permits.
