Vintage Modifieds will take the track again at Crawford County Speedway Saturday 6-8-2013 with the races starting at 7:30pm!! There may be a 34 Ford Sedan on the track for the first time this year if he gets it ready by then. He has plans on being there!!

Andy on the HOOK!! This kinda somes up the night! As they say on Hee Haw, If It Weren't for Bad Luck, We'ed have No Luck at All!! The 27 lock a trans, the 53 lost a coil, Tom didn't make it down from Joplin due to a piece of steel in his eye, and the new motor in the 9 car that I just got going a few hours before race time lost a coil wire in the heat, starter gave up after the race, and it was running on 5 cylinders at the end of the feature!!
But that's racing sometimes, you have to take the bad with the good!! That won't stop us, we are planning on being on the track again later this month, well announce later!

What do you do for entertainment when all the other Modifieds are in the pits broke? You put on an exhibition of Synchronized Spin Outs!! Waymon Harris Photo, he caught this one just right!!

John Bishop got his trophy 7-20-13 from the 6-8-13 Feature win (CCS gives out their trophy's on the following Saturday at intermission and we don't race there but once a month). John had some bad luck (7-20-13) and wasn't able to drive out to get his, but he sure enjoyed getting it!! Congrats John!!!!
