Cousins Cody and Jake Swanson started of the 2013 VRA season with A very exciting 1-2 finish in the VRA midget main on Saturday night. Cody had a very good battle with veteran Rick Hendrix for 24 laps that occasionally saw David Pricket trying to a eek through. But on lap 24 Cody was able to make the pass and bring home the victory! While Cody was battling Rick, Jake had his own battle with Scott Pierovich, Ronnie Gardner and David Pricket. Eventually Jake cleared the group an set sail for Cody which would have surely been an epic battle as well! Jake ran out of time and settled for 2nd! This was the 1st 1-2 finish for the cousins in several years of racing together! Congratulations boys!

congratulations boys nice finnish i wasnt there but i know Rick hendrix has been fast latley Must have been a good race Way to Go!!!

Congrats to Cousin Cody. It sure was great to see the boys get that 1 -2 finish. We can hardly wait for the new HPD K24 engine. Jake was giving up a good 50HP & 40 foot pounds of Torque to all the competion out there.
