This topic makes me sad. The king should run at a local track somewhere, like Knoxville, and not on the outlaw tour.

I guess you could'nt kick him in his prime so your going to do it when he's down. Him and Sammy is damn near sixty, What do you expect ? No one else has lasted so long in sports. Im 46 so I've been a Kinser fan my sinse I can remember . Thats how lucky I've been.

I think he has earned the right to hang it up whenever he damn well pleases. Is he the same driver that he was 10, 15, 20 years ago? No and I think he will tell you that. But for what he has accomplished and for what he and Sammy have done for Sprint car racing, I think they can decide when to go and I doubt they will take the negative opinons of people on a website into consideration when they made that decision. I think everyone should enjoy the time that we get to go to the races and watch them on the track rather than wishing that someone should retire because once Steve and even Sammy retires, everyone will be saying man I wish I could see those two race still.

He is more likely to end up Posse like Mcmahan, Lasoski, Pittman, etc...
