This is very good for sprint car racing. All of a sudden, a few more thousand people want to know who this kid is and what his background's in, and they're about to find out it's sprint cars.

Probably good for NASCAR too. I would not have tuned in had Larson not been in the hunt there at the end.

Pretty nice what Busch said about him after the race too. Yung Money, I prefer Norcal Ninja, is starting make quite a name for himself in the upper leagues............

Rusty WaWa keeps proving that he is an idiot. Post race comments included "Who is Kyle Larson I have never heard of Kyle Larson". Just proves how out of touch the guy (and most of the ESPN/Fox reporters) really are.

I just heard that & I agree.
It'd be nice if the commentators ,(Ex-racers especially) could make some sort of an attempt to stay informed about the talent that is participating in the event they're broadcasting.....

kb almost gave it to him! He will definitely earn a few this year. I do not know what ganassi has in store for him, but i if he takes off like most of us think he will, i see him in cup next year for sure. if not a couple a races in juans car this year. lol

He's already slated for a couple of Cup rides this year. After he wins the NNS Championship this year, there will be nowhere else to go except to
Cup next year. Go get'em Kyle.

Heck Rusty the whiner is just peed off because his kid couldn't carry Danica's helmet bag let alone Larson's.... Actually the only one out of that Wallace bunch that has any class is Kenny.

Many may think you are nuts for saying he will win the NNS championship, BUT, it is defnitely not impossible. If he doesn't get a Cup ride next year, (which is going to happen) he could easily win it next year as he is a very quick study anywhere he goes. He learned Bristol in 72 hours. Think about his finishes this year:
1. Daytona--half the car in the fence--still finishes 13th after leading late in the race
2. Phoenix--13th
3. Vegas--running around the top ten before issues and then wiped out in someone else's wreck
4. Bristol--we all saw it
And, he is still 9th in points after all of that. If he can keep the wheels on the car he will be running in or around the top 5 or 10 most of the year. I also predict a win or two. And I don't think it will necessarily be on a short track either. Time will tell, but this is going exactly the way I thought it would. Like Nascar or not, he is going to start to fill the stands again in the next 5 years. Jimmie got worn out by him 2 weeks ago and Kyle got worn out by him late today. I think this is only a glimse of what is to come.
