Hey Sean, is there anyway you can make it up for the Copper? Missing you like I did the last time you were at Canyon is not a option the next time you show up at there. Casa Granda is closer to you and their going to have a couple of sprint shows, are you going to try and make those?

Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

Some in the media are already referring the ARCA race as the ARCA Wreck, with Duno and crash-prone John Wes Townley starting on the front row. Both are driving rented Venturini cars, which usually are the class of the ARCA field.

For years I always called that race the "Crash and Burn 200" because that's usually what happened ... but they've been driving a bit better in recent years.

It seems to me the smartest bet for Kyle is to just go out..run the race, be as safe as possible, perform the skills that NASCAR wants to see so he gets signed off to run the NNS next weekend. I doubt h'es going to do anything crazy or push the envelope and take a chance jeapordizing the Nationwide race.

Don't forget that Caleb Armstrong is in there as well. Hope our dirt trackers can make something happen on the high banks of Daytona!

Yep - ran compact cars. Recall one got in Lake Lloyd once.

And +1 for Larson's clean run.

And in other news of the day -- after 500 qualifying practice the rest of the field kinda had this view.....

For his first race on a super speedway I think the kid did pretty well.Just needs more seat time in the stock cars.

While I was watching the excitement of restrictor plate racing I was thinking, "he's got to be bored" - compared to all the other races he's been running around the world of DIRT, verses sitting in a long line of cars at a mear 198 mph, waiting to see if the "big one" was in his way or behind him!
