With the Lance Armstrong scandel in the news it finally dawned on me. The way some vintage racers have been always running out front the past season or two it must be because of performance enhancing drugs. (and I'm not talking about Viagra) How else could old guys run that fast? Maybe we could get Oprah to come and interogate several of them. She could get a full confession out of an Islamic Terrorist! Just a thought. Scotty

scotty, thats way too funny.those OLD farts like sammy, mike peters, and the rest of the ancient not over the hill shoes just have too much experience, track time ect that makes them tick. i doubt if any drugs were injected by them. so opra would be hard pressed to squeeze anything anything newsy out of them, especiall sammy who doesn't have a hell of a lot to say at any intervier. anyhow lets keep opra miles away from RACIN.......

I have been aroung racing since 1973 and only saw 1 driver taking pills and he only raced 3 times. I helped Mike Peters for several years, am a friend and think it is an insult for you to even suggest such a thing . I don't like Sammy but I think that you have insulted him also. Just because a driver stays in shape and still gets the job done is no reason to go around and start rumors and run him down

I hope you realize that I was just joking. No, guys like Sammy and Mike P. have too much talent to mess it all up with taking drugs. I have too much respect for them would never intend to insult them. I mistakenly thought that nobody would take me serious. Above all I like Sammy a lot more than Oprah anyway! LOL! Scotty
