Topic: Looks Like The Larson / Kuntz # 71 car is Just as Good as The Swindell 39 1

Unless the Swindell's were just Playing with Kyle Larson, it looks like the Larson / Kuntz 71 Team has done there Homework and are just as fast as Both Swindell Cars at this Years 27th annual Chili Bowl, Great Racing the 3 of them put on for the fans till, Larson Spun................Did Kyles Dad race too in the past ? ONLY Larson i can think of was Judd Larson, any relation to kyle larson, thanks.

no his dad didn,t. If you go search around through the pictures on his website it goes back a ways.. .like to a home built kart and trailer. Pretty funny. Kinda nice to see where it started from.

Kyle's father wasnt a driver or a car owner. He did help a little in the pits with a local sprint car team.

Nope. If he wouldnt have spun out TWICE he would have lost a tire witht he way he was running. So NO he wasnt dialed in to compete 55 laps with the swindells.

Rogue-9, for the love of God please change the record. You sound just like the whinny arse fool with the username REF from Sedalia Missouri the way you are so damn butt-hurt over the five year dominance the Swindell cars have had. They used the same old chassis and use Esslinger's EFI engines, you know those $19,500 generic bullets.
Hell if you want to piss, bitch and moan about weird, super light cars you only have to look at the Bondio cars each year. They are so far outside the window of what you think a Midget should look like they are relative "Stealth Bombers straight from Area 51" in Nevada. Why haven't they dominated the Chili Bowl when they are far more trick? Because they don't work as well as they look.
Sammy is content to bring a tried and true combination every year and yes they are way more consistant. Maybe someone will build a better mousetrap next year, until they do Sammy will just be content to continue to tinker and perfect the setup even more. Those cars rarely break anything, they are impecibly maintained and are constantly being tweaked and massaged right up until they are pushed off. It's called attention to detail and meticulous prepartion son. He has always been a very smart racer, and he's willing to try a lot of stuff others won't. Sammy and his brother Jeff are masters of shock selection and set-ups.
Sorry Rogue-9, I guess you'll have to be content to have your panties twisted into a big old bunch until someone figures out a way to beat them.

Actually I think if Kyle could habe stayed in front of Kevin & Sammy & beat them to the rubber he would have won assuming that Kevin didn't take him out with a slider on a restart as I think whoever was in ffront & got to the rubber would have won. I watched Kyle @ Tulare wdhen it took rubber & he won both the wing & the non wing race & had more tire left than the others....same deal @ Turkey Night....kid can win on any surface & take care of his tires & his car. He explained @ Tulare that he used up more of his brakes so he could save his right rear for lappers & the end on the race.

Rouge - Check twitter, I haven't seen any drivers complaining about the Swindell cars. Now I haven't checked every driver's opinion but most of them agree that the rules are the rules and they just haven't gone far enough to keep up. I always like a person that stands up for what they believe, but you are out there on this one. They got a better mouse trap and know how to maximize it. Pretty sure Smokey Yunick would be shaking their hands. As for Will... I feel for you. You had a rough rough childhood and really should talk to someone about your issues.

Over 250 enties ,$10,000 to win open rules ,able to attract some top NASCAR drivers,excellent attendance all make for a successful event.Trying to maintain a perfect track for an event that starts in the morning takes lots of skill and luck.The Swindells dominance is a testament to Sammys attention to details,being a master mechanic and also you have to have a little Chili Bowl luck ,but they both are also top drivers.I really like midgets and micros on short tracks ,but midgets due to their cost plus fan draw seem to not work the best from a promotional stand point.Actually weekly racing in general is lucky to remain steady in attendance with so many other things to do.The first 20 some laps that they showed on Speed looked like a lot of fun.Kyle Larson should be Speed Performer of the Year as he has done more than anyone to add excitement to auto racing of any kind.
