I have gave thought about riding out to tulsa for the final day/nite. I assumed it was a sell out but when I called yesterday they said I could buy a pit pass the day of the event and that they have a bleacher section for the pits. My question is does anyone know if this would be a good vantage point? Thanks

I would go stand out front and buy a ticket. You can usually get one at face value...

the pit stands will hold at the most 50 people so do as hawker says and buy a ticket outside every ticket is a good ticket some are just better than others

The pit stands will hold way more than 50, there are 2 sections along the back stretch, plus the standing section in turn 3, more like 500-800 I would assume, but you have to get there early because people start forming lines before access even opens up, then they go and tape their blankets and crap down. But they are right, a ticket out front would be best, and you can upgrade it to a pit pass for $15, so you can walk around in the pits all day but then have a guranteed seat at night
