93 year old Jim Curley of Hutchinson, Kansas passed away on Sunday, December 30th. A decorated war hero during World War II, Jim owned and drove big cars, new model stock cars, and jalopies across Kansas and at the Pike's Peak Hill Climb between 1949 and 1965.

I remember Jim in my younger days as #17. I think he lived at 4th and Lorraine. I can still see his last yellow #17 modified setting there. R.I.P & thanks for you service!
