im posting this because i have a 8 yr old daughter who loves to root for girl drivers. her favorite driver bangs fenders weekly in a 4banger. I would love to see a female driver travel to some big shows or with the Woo again. I know jessica Z is out there somewhere but we never see her here in Mo. Mike W has had a couple in 19 in the past but only for a year or 2 and well before my daughters time. What ever happened to Becca Anderson?

I was at The Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, Cali when Erin Crocker became the first woman to win a World of Outlaws feature race and she did it in convincing style! Not because all the cards fell just right. I was shooting video for WoO at the time. The place went crazy!

In victory lane, the infield announcer said something like "every one is saying you drove your butt off, but I think you still have a beautiful butt"

Except he used a different word that is discriptive word for "butt!"

The next night she was leading again when the RR went flat!

Haley and Miranda Arnold are from right there in Missouri. They don't travel the W of O but travel a lot in the Midwest and are just great with fans. They are also on Facebook if she wants to follow them.
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race

Miranda Throckmorton (spelling) can get it done in a sprint on dirt, Alissa Geving won the Petaluma,California track championship at least two times and is youngest female to ever win a feature race in a winged sprint car at age 15, 3 or 4 years ago. Don't know what has happened to Christi Passmore but she could hang with the guys in their family-owned sprinter, drove in many many WoO races, then went ARCA racing and did well in an under-funded team, and of course Erin Crocker and Becca Anderson were the two best female sprint car drivers as far as I'm concerned. And back here in the Dakotas we had Natalie Sather driving 410 winged sprints very well, then she supposedly went out to Oregon or Washington to drive in a pavement stock car series.

Does anybody know what Natalie Sather is up to now?

In South Dakota we have Trisha Underberg (3rd generation) and M.J. Ziebarth in 360s.

I loved seeing Natalie race at Knoxville and still miss her not being there. She was extremely popular with the fans and always seemed to be very gracious in the pits.

Natalie, if you read this, hope things are going great for you whatever you're doing! I, and I'm sure a lot of other people, still miss you slinging dirt.

Natalie went to drive pavement somewhere. she had a lot of learning to do. always spinning the car. and i follow the sister from here in Mo but they dont ever show up with the Woo in this area. $ is tight so we only hit so many races. I miss Becca Anderson. i would have loved to see what she could do with some $ behind her.

Natalie is dating Cody Darrah. And has been to a bunch of Outlaw shows this year to support him. I think she tried to make a truck race but failed to qualify this year. Taylor Ferns is a young and up and coming midget racer who ran with usac this year. Won the usac D1 championship last year. Paige Polyak can really wheel a 305 at Fremont and Attica.

Harli white is extremely talented. I would look for her to have a long future in racing as well.

Miranda and Haley Arnold run 360 class, not 410's with the Outlaws. It seems they run mostly regional ASCS series. Like I said, they are great with fans and I think your daughter would really enjoy meeting them in the pits and following them on Facebook.

I believe Paige Polyak won the 305 portion of the blue collar bash at Eldora this year.

Agree it's hard to find a lot of female drivers in the 410 ranks. Don't know of any offhand in MN/WI, but there are two driving in the USMTS 360 ranks. Anna Kouba and Jennifer Eriksen. Don't know much about either one of them, but Anna is from a racing family and is making progress on the track. I've only seen Jennifer run twice, and don't know much about her yet.

Shannon McQueen has now won back to back midget championships on the west coast. Not only as a driver but as a car owner as well...

Jenifer Eriksen was Champion of the old Jackpot Junction series in 2007.

Her sister Shannon won it in 2008.

And of course Natalie Sather was the 2007 ASCS Midwest Champion.
