VADirt Covered the Winchester 200 for LM
Winchester, Virginia - Since 1963, Winchester Speedway has hosted the Winchester 200. Although no longer an actual 200 lap race, this weekend is still truly a great event. Big money features over two nights, with prizes not only going to the feature winner on Saturday night, but checks and trophies awarded to a feature winner on Friday night, as well as the qualifying races for both nights. 50 of the region's best super late model drivers, along with some travelers, invaded Winchester Speedway for the two-day event, along with additional divisions of limited late models , enduros, u-cars, and pure stocks (which only ran on Friday). Near perfect weather accompanied the packed grandstands for an exceptional weekend of high speed dirt racing action.
