I KNOW THAT THERE WERE RACES IN 1956. I CAN NOT FIND RESULTS FOR 1957 AND AN ARTICULE I HAVE STATES THAT THE TRACK WAS CLOSED FOR THE 58, 59 AND 60 SEASONS. IN 1961 THE TRACK RACED ONLY SEVEN SPRINT CAR RACES AND THERE WERE SOME SANTIONED MIDGET RACES.
IN 1962 THE SUPERMODIFIEDS RAN A VERY SHORT SEASON. THERE WERE SOME NON POINTS SUPER SPECIALS. THERE WERE ONLY ELEVEN RACES. THEY ALSO SHARED THE TRACK WITH MOTORCYCLE RACING EVENTS. THE SUPERS DID NOT RACE WHEN THE CYCLES RACED.
I HAVE THE LIST THRU THE 1964 SEASON, AND THERE SEEMS NOT TO HAVE BEEN A PERSON WHO WAS A CLEAR FAVORITE FROM YEAR TO YEAR. SOME DRIVERS SHARED THEIR TIME WITH THE OTHER TRACKS IN THE KC AREA. I AM STILL WORKING ON THE LISTS AND HOPE TO HAVE TI DONE SOON.

You might not be able to find them in the New papers for all 3 tracks in KC .there was Olymipic and Riverside and Lakeside.I know the races that my dad was at i got the result for that nights racing..It may be really hard to get all the results by news paper because they may not be in the paper. .I got alot of results for 62 -63 -64 -65 in KC but it will be awhile before i can get to them..That tonado in Joplin i had to get my stuff collected and put in a safe place and i am just now getting to were i can mess with some of it..I do have some results from Riverside in 1956 and maybe a few other places in the late 50s up around there.but not much more other than that in the late 50s for KC.I rememeber buying new papers sometimes and there would not be anyhting about the races in them. ...Great work you have done with what you have found.
Tim
Win as if you are use to it.And lose as if you enjoyed
it for a change. Its hard to get to the top and alot
harder to stay there.

These are the results for the 1962 and 1963 seasons for Greg Weld, Jack Belk and Don Elliott at Lakeside. Sometimes the results were not in the paper until Wednesday. In a couple of the submissions it stated only who won the feature the week before. I almost have the 1964 and 1965 seasons ready.
