This is something I've not seen too much of but was curious if there is anyone in the Kansas City area who would be interested in getting a sprint car related tattoo. I am a tattoo artist at CBTAT2 in St. Joseph, Mo, and one thing I would really like to work out is a bad ass image of a sprint car, or a portrait of a driver, anything like that. If interested in talking further, e-mail me- [email protected]

Don't know how to load a picture, or I'd show you mine. It's on the outside of my left calf. The artist used a MSPN Fuzzy Foto to look at as he done it. It's of Sammy's Channellock car. At a later date I had Sammy autograph it and the artist tattooed over the autograph.

I have a racing tattoo on my shoulder but it isn't a car or driver. It's actually checkered that looks like it's coming from under my skin then it sort of shifts into the shape of birds.

There used to be a crazy SOB fro PA named "racey". He had all kinds of sprint tats on his legs. Does anybody in PA know if this guy is still alive? I know he always ran wide open so he may have made it to the checkereds if you know what i mean.

i would really be interested in seeing the sammy tattoo, i have spoke with a few people about this and hopefully will be getting to do one soon. i will post pics, as i would like to get more clients from the racing community because that is where all of my artistic ventures have started. i also do custom paintwork and canvas paintings with oil and acrylic. any feedback is more than welcome!

Since I don't know how to post a picture (and might not even be able to, not being a power user) I will email you a pic of the Sammy tattoo. I'm on the road til the weekend, so I'll try to take a decent picture of it with my phone. If it doesn't turn out, I'll send it to you over the weekend. At the Chilli Bowl a few years ago, MSPN took a picture of it with the picture it was modeled after next to it. I also, somewhere, have a picture of Sammy autographing it.
