I suggest a letter writing campaign to the Fair Board. Can you imagine them not allowing re-entry during their own "Fair".

A simple ink pad and stamp would have created positive PR and not negative.

A date stamp would do it. Change the color of the ink from event to event.

I mite just have a simple fix for myself here!!...I'll just save all my $$$$ for tracks here in Arizona, that are fan friendly tracks!!...sorry to say that could also include the "Ovals"!!... if the Pas'" Gate Goon Squad" is to continue the 'No ReEntry Stamp' Policy!!...In case it hasn't been noticed this year....

Az. has plenty of NW Sprint Car Shows now... rite here in Phx.!!...w/o spendin a ton of $$$$,driving back n' forth across the Desert!!....Pas' mite just wanna rethink some of their

(non) fan friendly Policys that has rescently surfaced!!...that has alota loyal track supporting fans talking to each other!!....as always, this is only "JMO" !!.....

I suspect it is to protect the sale of overpriced food and beer. The food nazis are the first line of defense. At the movies the most profit comes from candy and popcorn sales and this is probably true in this case.

Had a track on our series (OCRS) not let fans back in if they walked out once. I didnt know that till I saw a fan begging to be let back in (his family was still inside). I asked the promoter that night why the no re-entry policy? He was honest. He said to keep fans from getting to their drinks and food in their cars as he needed that revenue too.

I asked him: "OK, but if I may ask, what if you dont get to even sell them a ticket ever again?" Promoter said: "Do you think its that big an issue to them (fans)?" I replied: "Lets say you take your family to the zoo. You go to your car because you forgot something. They want more cash for you to get back in. You going to go back anytime soon?"

He dropped that policy not the next week, but after I asked the last question.

GREETINGS DIRTFACE. SINCE 1996, I HAVE ALWAYS TAKEN TO THE PAS MY BACKPACK WITH A HOODIE, GLOVES, SMALL BLANKET AND SEAT. THE WEATHER AND TEMPERATURES AT THE TRACK CAN BE UNPREDICTABLE. ALSO CAN'T GO WRONG WITH A $5 FOOT LONG AND BRING IT IN. I ONLY ITEM I BUY AT THE TRACK IS BOTTLE OF WATER OR AN ICE TEA. NOW BRING ON THE RACES. KEN

Actually they do check backpacks. But apparently they don't check purses. The group that regularly sits in front of us often has a pint of vodka that they share. On another occasion someone brought in a baby stroller with a blanket over it to shelter the baby. The baby was an ice chest filled with Miller Beer.

So why would you snitch them out? You just gave the goon squad ammo. Now they are gonna search your purse.

Their is a liquor license that is being used by Family Affair, the vendors that provide food and beverages including beer and other spirits. The California ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control) have been known to fine and or shut down operations that do not control alcoholic beverages that come in from outside. I had already informed a well placed employee of the PAS last season of what was going on. While I have stopped consuming alcohol, I can't think of something more fan friendly than a group of friends sipping on a brew or two while watching our favorite sport.
