I am in the process of building a new ALL PRO Headed motor. Its about time to order my heads and i would like so input on what heads i should get. After doing a little research i see alot of 280-2 motors and 286-2 motors. Can Anyone tell me what the diffidence is between the -2s -3s -4s ??? What Heads are being used on the current Outlaw motors this year. Any insite on this would be great.

Actually i do read. And if i wanted a motor builders view on the heads i would have asked for it bud. I want to know everyone's view. I have ask motor builders from Ott,Shaver,Fisher and Parker and all of them have a different answers. What is making the most power? what is more driver friendly? what head is good for a short track?big track??. If thats the best advice you got, don't bother responding to my post. "by the looks of your post you would buy any bullshit they wanted to sell you"

What is a Areopackage? Is that like an oreo? AllPro 286-2. A good all around head for any track.

So you talked to 4 of the best sprint car motor builders in the business but you didn't like their response so you decided to come on Hoseheads and see what a faceless group of Forum readers has to say. I think you've already gotten your answer, they all have different ideas and methods, cause there's not 1 silver bullet package and everyone does it a little different. These builders do this for a living so why are they going to hand you over the spec build sheet to a head, because you asked? Same with on here, their are drivers on the board but I have a feeling their not going to hand over tips and tricks over the public airwaves. Its like going on a fishing Forum and asking where the fish are biting, either no one will answer or you will be launching your boat on a city legume when you follow the directions your given by someone You slammed Brettco immediately for his advice but it seems much more logical than what your doing here. Its called research and development, you have to personally test things and form your own opinion.
There are my thoughts, I await your slamming response.

yes SpeedSkills i have talked to them builders and they will tell you a little more then you think when your talking about spending 50,000 buck with them. but they do all have different head views. Ott 280-2,Shaver 286-2, Fisher 295-4 and Parker said 286-4. this i why i am on here asking from a racers point of view. I know just about every racer looks at the board not just morons. So you must be referring to the faceless group of morons. im talking to racers only.

It seems to me, and I may be one of the morons that just read this stuff, but if I was looking for someone to build me a motor (engine), it sure wouldn't be someone with piss poor tact like you are showing. It may seem easy to me to think that maybe a motor (engine)builder, that has been around for a real long time, and has a HUGE following, maybe THAT guy has the goods in the way of head size or whatever you are looking at or for. I'm just a moron though, but I do enjoy reading other "MORONS" like you, speak their mind. LOLOL Brings a smile to my face, knowing I am not the only MORON out here.......LOLOL

Hey there this is Joey Saldana and I'm so impressed that your going to build a $50,000 motor, here's the secret to sprint car racing, if you put on the 280-2 heads you will win every race you ever enter. By the way we should be buddies.
So your paying one of the top builders to build your motor, let em do what your paying them for then, build the motor. I haven't ever seen Sammy Swindell on here asking what heads he should have on his motor, I'd guess Al Parker takes care of that for him and Sammy makes it cross the checkers. Or is this whole thing a way for you to let everyone know your a racer and say your spending a bunch of money on a race motor. Me too, I'm spending $200,000 and I have Hendrich Motorsports building it for me but I have a post over on the Nascar board finding out from them guys what color valve covers I should get on it.
