Its always a long midwestern winter up here, thus, Ive tossed around the idea of purchasing a onboard cam this season for my technical (gooroo) to capture some footage with, Obiously, quite a few of us try relive the summer moments through "any driver" that will take us onboard, Ive watched quite a few clips and some seem good video quality with poor audio, and some are visa versa, or just completly poor quality all the way around, , I dont mind spending thte extra dough ( on amature cam) as long as I am happy with my product, How many of you have experiance , and are happy or displeased with your purchase? ,Im just looking for some insight into leading me in the right direction for a "Auto Sport" type of recording , Ive seen several different manufactures, and watched many videos some im curious what cam was used? I just want the most bang for what were trying to capture.. Thanks!

Our company has used GoPro Hero, GoPro Hero 2, Replay XD, Contour, and DRIFT. There is no doubt that DRIFT is the runaway winner.

Better picture, sound, built in screen, rotatable lens, great user interface. Get in your basic settings, turn on, record, done. No crazy menus and goofy buttons to try and figure out.

First of all it's called a on board "CAMERA" every car relys on having a "CAM". Without a Cam to open and close the valves in a internal combustion engine we would all be sitting at the beer stand waiting for something to happen.

Good luck on your choice of Cams.

You may want to check out MotoComm cameras at www.MotoComm.com

They've been supplying the Black Bandit team in 2012 and the results have been amazing so far. Want a look at what they can do? Click below to see hot laps from Williams Grove.
