He's probably going to explain who and how he pissed someone off at Elite Racing which is why this whole mess is happening in the first place.

I heard that he may be coming back to race. And from what I've heard, everhard is right. I've heard he will be racing with the King of The West Series out in Cali. But none of us know. Just going to have to watch and listen.

Tough to have a 2nd team when you don't have a 1st team... they're done very soon.

So what did he say? Grandkids showed up at 7 and left at 8 and the wife had two shows set to record on the DVR. I had to skip Wind Tunnel to entertain the kids.

I don't need to know that bad. When all is said and done this is just entertainment. But I'll buy you a coffee someday anyways.

Mr. Luck (I think that was his last name), one of the partners, decided that they were going to pull some sponsorship from Jason Meyer's team and put it toward the 19 car so they can have both cars on tour fulltime.
Jason disagreed with having two mediocre teams on tour, and didn't want to sacifice his racing career and great equipment in exchange for a teammate. So, they decided to go their separate ways.
On a side note, its been said that Al Hamilton has offered to relocate Jason's entire family to Central PA to race the his car, and pay him handsomely for it. Al is just waiting for the call back.

Except that Hamilton doesn't own that car. Don Ott does. Hamilton is just a sponsor.

I was beaten to the punch by Mephit here, but what's the source on this Al Hamilton claim? Did Meyers say that on the WindTunnel interview last night? It just seems rather questionable -- since Hamilton doesn't even have a team anymore.

I have a buddy in Indiana whose been right on a lot of things. I didnt state it as fact, just a hearsay.
Also, just because Al's sponsoring a car, doesn't mean he cant own his own team right? I mean, he might be holding out until he finds the perfect driver for his own operation. In this case, Jason Meyers...

This wasn't the same source that had Darrah out of his ride a few weeks ago because he was running Lincoln, was it?
Hamilton is holding out? The guy is 80 years old and sold his entire operation a couple years ago. I don't know that there is a lot of holding out to be done when you get to be Hamilton's age.

That makes no sense at all, why would anyone who has won 2- championships and run 2nd in the points 3 times dilute what he has to have 2 teams really ? The fact is it was his decision to leave and his alone to work with a different driver, different ownership partner and to continue to work with Brian Bloomfield in Ohio.

Sometimes even the greatest of partnerships run their course. Chris and Jason (along with the rest of the Elite Racing team) accomplished something that has only happened four other times in series history and that is winning back-to-back titles. After winding down from the 2011 season, Chris and Jason looked at their goals and priorities for the future. After much deliberation, they decided to go their separate ways. Chris partnered with Chad and Jen Clemens to form CL Motorsports for driver Stevie Smith. Jason decided to run an appreciation tour before settling down to spend more time with his young girls. In the end, both sides are extremely excited about the future and what it may bring.
