From Facebook,

"On Friday evening 12/9/11 Kerry passed away. We thought the battle was just beginning but apparently the plan was different for Kerry. The family and I appreciate your thoughts and prayers at this time.
Robin"

Kerry was an early staple in HoservilleCa sprint cars. His loss is the 2nd this year as we lost Mike Avilla too. We were talking on another thread about when he and Robin came to the hoservilleca banquet and kart races at speedring and he single-handedly put it to us. Thats not a wise crack, its the honest truth. He was a friend and I will miss benchracing with him. frown

DAMN! It must be close to 20 years now that I met Kerry. He was the sales VP at Pacesetter Windows. We were buying and giving the sales guy some grief when Kerry came to the house to close the deal. He immediately took a great interest in all my sprint car pictures on the wall and we must have talked racing for an hour. Oh, yeah, window deal closed. We kept in touch and got together for a trip to 'stoga. He'd never been there and just loved it. When we got HoserVille going we were entertaining a HoserVille Turkey night in Tulare. Pacesetter was going to be the number one sponsor. Unfortunately Pacesetter closed their doors, the race was off and Kerry was out of job. He moved to Arizona and set up house with Robin and they had a child. Kerry was a very happy man, even with his tours in and out of the hospital. He had all he wanted in life. The true optimist.

Oh yes, the go-cart night. What Stu failed to mention was the fact that Randy Hannigan was there that night getting in shape after his horrible leg injury. Every time Hannigan went by me I counted to 5 and there came Kerry!

I'll miss ya bud, say hey to CarWash.........
