We have a lot of people in Northern California that were involved in getting Dan 2 mugs on the Borg-Warner. He was one of my personal favs. Like many of you, Im devastated.
When Snaggletooth won the 500 for the first time, with an Andretti car, I couldnt have been happier. When he snuck in to victory lane this year, I was speechless... like the 9ers just won the Superbowl with no time on the clock.... Like the Giants winning the World Series....
He wasnt just an IRL Series Champion or an Indy 500 Champion, he was a Husband and Father as well.
What went down today sunk my boat the day DE and Greg Moore got taken away. The morning Kathleen called me about Mike.
My bigger question is at what point will they replace the cheese grater fencing that took Jeff Krosnoff as well, with Lexan?
Dan was supposed to replace Danica in the godaddy car next year. A return to Andretti Autosport. I cant imagine what they are thinking. Mario has to be having visions of Ronnies crash. He was joking about going after the bonus in the two seater yesterday.
Today sucked ass.
