A first time winner is always a popular one in the sprint car comunity. Sweet, Meyers or McMahan would make my year.

I think anybody could win tonight and the crowd would be happy. You have Sammy a sentimental favorite after last year. Kinser who could show everyone he still has it. Schatz coming from near the back (1 spot away from furthest won by Kinser 95' started 14th). And Tim Shaffer who doesn't like seeing him get a back to back. If anybody besides those 4 win then it's a first timer and like others have said that is always nice to see. Love to see a non WoO guy win it and even better a Knoxville regular.

What?

You're forgetting a couple other previous winners, Kraig Kinser and Lasoski.

I don't know where Kraig will line up but I'm feeling confident The Dude is gonna do something special tonight. Gonna be the 1st time that its been won from the D :-) If he races that is, he might not have another motor.

The Dude is done. Pretty surprised with his performance this year.

I think fate is the only thing that can beat Sammy but I'm sure Dobmeier will be on it and guys like Stewart, Dollansky, Madsen and Johnson will be coming towards the front from the tail. I think Stewart is gonna put on a show tonight.
