Donny didn't do anything? Really? While Schatz isn't my favorite driver.. it's pretty clear if he didn't blow up, he would have had a good night going yeah that's racing and it ends the night on a sour note, but he ended it in the A at least.

I'm as far from a Donny fan as you can find but I'm guessing he would've won the A if he hadn't went up in flames.

He was bitchin' fast in his heat race and was coming with Sammy in the feature. Without the engine letting loose he's 99.9% sure to run top 3 and be top point man for the night.

Best part of the night was finding out Wheatley was OK. When it happened I thought the two of them got together. Watching the replay, he had no where to go. Glad everyone is OK.

Also the track looked like there were multiple grooves.

For all you haters out there I was wishing I could see TMAC's face and joy with his kid getting into the A main. That had to be a huge highlight for him. JMHO

Wait, what?

Where was I bashing anyone? I was crediting Schatz on his performance before he blew up.

Life is short, but it still requires reading comprehension.

By the way, one of my favorite parts of last night was Sammy getting his first real run on the 56 and trying to chop Davey going into 1 and Davey didn't give an inch.

Brought back a memory of Joey trying that move with Kaley Gharst in a heat race several years ago and finding the same result.

Always nice to see the young guns holding their ground.

Watching Heskin in his heat. After jumping and going to the rear to watch him school Keminah on the restart.

then watching him absolutely hauling the mail to the largest lead I've ever seen in 5 laps or so. Wow! He had well over a straight on them when that first caution came out with I think 7 or 8 laps down. Then he drove away from Sweet on the restart to over half a straightaway before the second caution. Tough luck for him. There would have been no catching him.

I would also say that I have no bone with Walker but he didn't have bad luck last night. He qualified bad and started up front in his heat and went backwards. He started mid pack in the B and went nowhere. He simply got outraced last night. Didn't race anything like he did the last two weeks here.

So you dont think the team dropped the ball on the setup, you think Tyler just got beat? Tyler didnt just forget how to race last night. The main negative aspect of the Nationals is that its 75% car and 25% driver that matters. Anyone who thinks otherwise doesnt pay attention. He who brings the money backed horsepower and has a top notch setup will always shine over the average team.

Cheers!

Then I had another Miller Lite.

I will second Heskin's not being intimiidated w/Sammy. Sammy moved over on allot of guys last night. If he eats a right rear it may not be the other guys fault.
