A little over a week away from the 360 nationals. Looks like there are 80 drivers pre-entered so far..down a little from the previous years. Noticed there are some big names that are not on the pre-entry list...including..Tim Kaeding, Kyle Hirst, Justyn Cox, Ricky Logan, Channin Tankersley, Sammy and Kevin Swindell, Cale Conley, Jake Peters, Brooke Tatnell, Dustin Morgan, Austin Wheatley, Tim Crawley...I know most of these guys were there last year, just curious if there coming again this year. Also I see Jeff Swindell is 3rd in the Lucas oil national points. Will he possibly be there? T-mac is listed twice on the pre-entry list..in the 24 and 55 car..which one will he be in??

Anywho...just thought I'd get a little something going here as its almost Iowa sprint week....

it's an ASCS national race correct? if so i would imagine to see Jeff Swindell, i'm really hoping to see him put a 410 in and run the Knoxville Nationals and then throw on a throwback 104+ paintscheme

Clint Garner was not on the list as of last night. Can't think he will not be there since he runs great at Knoxville weekly.

Wasn't the total purse for this event around 110-120k in recent years? if so, then lowering it to 90k is not good. it needed to go the other way!

last few years I went to this event the crowds were getting bigger and bigger all 3 nights. the last year (believe it was 07 or 08) was very good attendance.

I just think if anything - knock 10-20k off the 410 nationals purse and put it in the 360's. probably still get all the same 410 guys. but increasing the bottom end of the 360 nationals purse.......man you stand to gain A LOT of teams from all over. jmho.

Ricky Logan may still be recovering from injuries (someone correct me if he is back racing)

Cale Conley has been off trying to do some stock car racing don't think he'll be at the 360 or 410 nationals. (which is a shame the kid was really starting to make a name for himself in a sprinter)

Just checked again and we're up to 92 360's now! A few of the new ones on the list are Slammin Sammy Swindell, Brooke Tatnell, Clint Garner, Ray Allen Kulhanek, Aaron Reutzel and a few others!

It has been a ASCS National race, not sure about this year. Jeff said on Winged Nation awhile back he would be running the 360 and was hoping to get a motor to stick around and run the 410 Nationals. Im gonna guess the 104+ scheme is out of the question though (although I was more partial to the 7tw Gold Eagle car).

The addition of Pittman & Shaffer this year should make an already awesome show even better! There are probably a dozen or more that aren't entered that are coming, including Dover and TK.
