There is nothing sayin a diference from side to side is a crime Right ? The gauge would not fit !! Either side!!! Please help me as I am in the dark !! If the the gauge goes in too big !!! BUT if it does not go in u r ok , right ? Does a slight difference in each side of a 2 brrl carb mean that much that ? Even if the go no gauge will not fit either side ? Maybe just me MY BAD if I am WRONG !!!

The go no gauge would not fit in the carb! There was a slight difference between the two venturis BUT the gauge did not go thru either side of the carb! So my question is , How does the go no go gauge work?

(1) If the venturi gauge goes into the venturi, either side,(1.390 max.) it is oversize and illegal.
(2) If the throttle bore gauge goes into the throttle plate bore, either side, (1.700 max.), it is oversize and illegal.
(3) If the throttle shaft (shaft&blade) gauge (.180 min.) goes over the shaft & blade, it is too thin and illegal.
(4) If the booster height gauge goes over the height (meaning length) of booster, either side, (.435 min.), the booster is too short and illegal.
(5) If the booster ID gauge goes into the booster, either side, (.385 max.) it is oversize and illegal.
(*) By the way and as an oversight, OCRS rules are completely different. Check their website for clarification..
