in the famous words of the female singer from Meatloaf...

STOP RIGHT THERE...!!!

from the sounds and tirades of one Rowdy Roddy Piper and piper's pit - a tidbits tirade, big where even you little folks can read it.

This is NOT the Tulsa metro racing board and it will NOT be. Those posts concerning Lawton and the slander has been sent to the main hoseheads webmaster and am awaiting information as to who benfan70 is, location and such. It has also been saved for my copies and his.

And that goes for any other post for that matter...

The Edwards' will be getting the information who posted this and they will do what they must. Remember they do have something to do with the Chili Bowl. They also have connections to ASCS.

This will not be tolerated and if approval from my webmaster you will be banned from all things hoseheads message board meaning you will NOT be able to post.

My webmaster and I will babysit and any other bullshit like this will be deleted. If you are from the Tulsa area, and I will find out, no wonder the racing in your area is on the decline because of shit like this but it will NOT be posted here on tidbits.

If this or anybody else is not from Tulsa then I humbely apologize as there are alot of good people still in Tulsa - I know there is.

Overreacting? Yeah probably but I got thrown through the ringer for nothing like this about ten years ago and learned the hard-way not to do it again. Now I am passing the torch.

There is another surprise I have in store once I know who this, or anybody else for that matter, is.

Yes, I am a disrespected, over-hyped a@#hole but this idiot is going to hopefully start a new trend. If only other promoters will kindly oblige.

And unclea, I really don't care to read one of your smartass comments, no matter how true they may be and OKCfan12 please no essay. But please know I love you both very much...

I have several digs but I am saving them for a rainy day. It isn't like I will be at one of those shows anyway.

Again, this will not be like other boards as Tulsa metro is just an example.

Have a nice day!!!!

It is the personal remarks that I do not care for. They were "-" close from getting the same treatment when they bashed Ed Beckley and will on any other future personal, degrading remarks. It is an attack on personal character and I have had enough of that crap.

Opinions on crappy surfaces, race programs, getting dirt in eyes at a dirt track, etc. will be tolerated - to a certain extent but will not become habit forming.

We all have opinions, hell I have mine and plenty of them, but it is what it is what it is.

As for what happened "behind the scenes" at Lawton Saturday night is unfortunate all the way around. Wasn't there but heard from enough people (and even those who witnessed it) that it shouldn't have happened. No excuses on anybodys part.

Racing in this state is fixing to go on lifesupport as almost every track is suffering. There is too much drama going on when we should just go to a track, race or watch the race, go to the pits or hang out with our friends after the races and go home. But the "fun" has been taken out of this deal.

And if nothing else remember, the big boys (especially in OKC) are viewing.

And you vented to the extent where over 80 viewed it in less than three hours.

The only need to apologize to me is for the personal attack because your opinion was halfly okay. It is to the family to which the slander was directed that you need to man up and apologize for knowing that it was uncalled for.

David, although I was directly involved with the incident in the pit area, I have declined to post anything negative about Lawton Speedway here or on FB and I plan to keep it that way.

Please know that the pit area incident did not involve or have anything to do with OCRS or it's officials and I think Lawton Officials are apologetic for what took place.

Accidents happen, and if we all keep bitching about this track or that track pretty soon there will be no Race Tracks left.

david I respect your site 100%, I think its awesome that we have a site such as this because of you. I did attack Ed Beckley personally and I stand behind every word I said...I take it very "personal" what he did here and how he did a lot of people here!!! I would hope that wouldnt get me booted for being open and honest!!!

I'm ready to watch me some WOO latemodels!!!! thats the bright side : )

Here is to hoping that I dont get booted...

Thanks David,

Jayson Ellis

LMAO @ Dave

dude I wasn't going to chase an essay on it either way lol. Thats not what I mean when I said I was waitin' on someone to say something like that lol.

only thought I really have....well, for the most part lol - is it was a bad night all the way around and I hope everyone finds a way to work through it. I could elaborate but really thats the thesis of what I typed earlier and still think. Again, for the most part, I was/am perfectly happy to just let everyone else speak their very narrow angles on the night lol. But I really think all of us/message boards can and should just let it lie - it was just an ugly night. bury the hatchets and for the good of regional sprint car racing just get past it as best as possible. I'm not always a lightning rod lol.

but geez David chill out man! lol. If your back is already that stressed you don't really need to add to it. hope it gets better for you bro. but hey you don't have to go all gestapo-like on the forum - that doesn't help anything. You know the regulars here keep it civil....or at least on the brink of civil lol wink

Hot subjects, such as this, tend to put the rumor machine into overdrive. " The hotter the issue-means a taller gear".

We say the number '3' here, it gets to '9' out there. A lot of people go on what they hear from others who have heard from others-who read these message boards. I have run inot a lot of people in the racing community that do not even have a computer and their story comes from someone 'in the know' who heard it from someone who read it on hoseheads. Throw in the exaggeration factor, and the rumor that comes back around is outrageous.

We like to have fun here, but we have to keep in mind civility here, breeds civility out there. People can only handle drama like this for so long, and then it's time to pack up and move on.

I see this board as like shop we hang out at, and I like everybody that comes in enough that I keep coming back, and that includes unclea and OKCFAN12 too. Lord knows ya'll have to put up with people like me too.

That being said, I'm going to google the lyrics to 'ebony and ivory' . LOL

Hey BS, It's good to know that others retain trivial info as well, ie. the Ellen Foley note, was concerned that I was an oddity. I was working last Sat night and haven't a clue what went on at Lawton, but the responses really concern me. We don't need any more friction being generated at another track. I hope reason prevails and we can go on successfully, IMO.

Well then where were you when I needed you then? Hell it took me texting catpuppy to even remember it was meatloaf and I am better than that.

And now I know, the rest of the story....
