Do I have to run mufflers? YES. ALL cars must run mufflers of some sort.

STEM Cars run Sun only

Can I run Sunday only? Yes, but you would be crazy to make it that hard on yourself. We will set most of the field before Sunday. Making the field won't be a cakewalk.

Can I Camp? Yes

A few folks are talking about helping us with some Saturday money for top finishers. If you are interested in promoting a company or just adding to this event, please contact Greg (661)205-9933. All further assistance will go to a Saturday purse.

Anyone who shows up Saturday and Sunday with a STOCKCAR from okc, Lawton, or north, or Waco south with a driver and 2 passengers (total 3 customers) I'll hit you with a $100 bill as you come in!
Dallas area racers who bring me a caravan of 7 or more STOCKCARS all together with 3 folks each will also get a $100 bill.

this track is located about three and a half hours from okc. it is 90 miles north of dallas. it is a short quarter mile that gets VERY dry slick. it stays very smooth and you can race three wide. it is a REALLY fun little track. i hope some of you guys from okc come check it out.

Guess that would help huh Erich? Grayson County Speedway (Texas) which was the place for my first ever appearance last year. Got to see Ronny Gould and was gracious enough to come up and talk too me. Always have liked Ronny.

Greg Cooper is the promoter and I believe is in his third year of owning the track. Very racey little place.

GCS is exactly a quarter mile if you run the middle of the track. It has an exterior border without runoff. 0degrees down on the tires, 10 degrees on the top. The straight aways are about 50 ft wide and the turns are maybe 75 ft. When watered correctly there often are 3 equal grooves. When it goes slick, it is as slick as any track in the US or so I've been told.

Just find Busby Lane in Bells, Tx if you are using a GPS.

If you are familiar with hwy 75, we are located just a few miles east of 75 near Sherman.

As earlier mentioned about 60-90 minutes north of Dallas.

We will have lights on Fri night for a playday, camping is welcome. Cooking is encouraged (if you share) and there are plenty of hotels, restaurants etc. in Sherman.

This is our first foray into big money races. We hope some of you folks might join us. If you come, we want you to HAVE FUN! After all this will be the 4th of July weekend. BIG FIREWORKS on Sunday!

This just in! HMS Hartline machine Shop has stepped up and put up $200 for Saturday's smod race! $100 will go to the winner of each of the two Saturday smod b feature winners! The Hartlines are veteran motor builders who worked in Jeff Hills magical "magnum motor facility" until it was disbanded. No wander they are now providing many racecars with fast reliable power every race night. Only 3 guys touch their motors during the build.....quality, not quantity is the Harline standard! Thanks guys. You just made Saturday a bit more interesting!

RBSF will pay $100 to SSM/limited class top main feature finisher with an on-board fire suppresion system, and no, a fire extinguisher bolted in doesn't count. We will have a playday this Thursday and next Friday. Next Friday will be lights on and everyone should attend as we will have a random drawing that will lock 1 driver from each class into a provisional 20th spot for the big feature!

Test and tune for the fireworks 400 will be held on Friday July 1st starting at 6:00pm and ending at 10:00pm. We will be turning the lights on. Spectators will be free as always. Pit passes will be $15 Every person entering the pits will get a ticket and they will wright the car/driver on it that they are there to support. We will draw for each class and the winner will be awarded a provisional 20th spot in the fireworks 400 A feature, guaranteeing them, $100 in stock car,$200 in smod, and $400 in modified. We have also decided to add a 21st starting spot to every class. The 21st spot will be auctioned off after qualifying with the starting bid being equal to the start money in each class.

Show time is 8:00 both nights. Sign ins will close at 7:00. We are pretty famous for getting done at a reasonable time on Sunday of two day shows. Fireworks will be at intermission on Sunday.

Hoosier unstamped G60 tires are now OK in Mod!
All tires must durometer 50 or higher after the race!!!

William at GRC is donating $300 to any mod that can win on IMCA stamped tires and $200 to any Smod that can win on IMCA stamped Hoosier 500 tires!

Thats on top of our $25 that every car in the A with IMCA tires get!

Smods don't worry about the imca headers. Just have imca motors (vac, comp, disp).

Thanks William! So now its possibly $4300 to win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just spoke with Greg, and he said he would love to have us but with our cars Pro/Street Stocks and running a Quick Change, 3 Link, & Panhard Bar he said it may cause a problem with the stock 4 Link cars, So any Ada / Meeker Pro's with out a 4 Link wont be able to run this show.
