are there any tracks in Oklahoma, besides Enid, that an A mod racer is not allowed to race a sportmod?
David Smith, does the NCRA allow A mod racers to race this class.?
What do sportmod racers think about racing against A mod racers?
Please, everyone chime in on this one and let all know how you really think....
I'm of the opinion that the vast majority of sportmod racers like it when an A mod racer shows up to race in the sportmod class.

As long as you are sportmod legal then anybody can compete. However, upon reading other message boards, I guess that the NCRA southern sport mod rules are not totally 100% IMCA legal. I am not in that loop any longer so news to me. Sadly as a matter of fact because when I was looking for a class to start a series, that is what was proposed and brought to NCRA about doing. 100% IMCA legal. Oh well as they say.
Don't think drivers really mind if the a-mod racers compete just as long as they are legal. I think the main issue all drivers have is to have a tech man at each race and race track and actually tech cars.
Just my thoughts on the matter - for what it's worth.

I don't mind the A mod guys running with us, it makes for bigger fields and better racing. I do want better tech across the board at all tracks.

just doesnt seem to make sense to me to be the only track in OKLAHOMA that is sanctioned by IMCA on sportmods.... guess you could win an IMCA state championship but that would be really weak....
