Good little interview that Despain did with J. He took quite a ride at Haubstadt last night, glad he is ok. I lol'd when they showed the vid of Jason yanking Sammy's plug wires at Vegas!

I thought his interview went really well. He is very well spoken. As far as what he did to Sammy, I'd say that was priceless!

Great interview. He is a great driver. My favorite Outlaw. Amazing the difference in his budget and his competitors. My kind of true racer.

The video of him yanking Sammy's plug wires went with the topic of the day following the Montoya/Newman feud. Proves that there are ways to get back or even with someone without having to put their life in jeopardy. (or anyone else's at the track) Thought it was a priceless idea!!

I cant respect a racer that would mess with someone elses car and or equiptment... He said he was a little lite headed when he did it... Seems like he is lite headed all the time.. Who did he blame for the wreck this time.. Mayby himself ???

Guess you have no respect for Sammy then, cause he's destroyed more of other peoples equipment than probably any other racer in history. Respect......lmao

Were you there? (I'm assuming your talking about Haubstadt)... I was... The other car drove right into him going into turn 1. Was it intentional? No.. Was is a miscalculation or inability of the driver in that car? Who knows. Do you think Jason decided to wreck himself? Absurd....
We spent all night Saturday driving home and all day Sunday building a new car to replace the one that was destroyed... What did you spend Monday? I feel sure it was nothing near what Jason spent...
We get it.. You like Sammy.. that's great. So do I... I also like most of the other Outlaw regulars and their crews... Everyone should have a favorite driver. Why you feel you should belittle another driver is beyond me. I call several of the Outlaw drivers friends. See them at the races all the time. If it's a racing deal, that's just the way it is. When it's an accident, that's the way it is.. The thread was about the respect he has gotten from the racing community to interview him on national television to let the general public meet the driver(s).. When is your Wind Tunnel interview scheduled?
As I sure your mother taught you.... If you don't have anything good to say, why not just refrain... Life is too short... You would be surprised how much better you will feel!

One thing is certain after reading this thread along with many others like it.... Sammy Swindell fans for the most part are a brick short of a full load! Sammy is a highly accomplished racer I will give you that, not much else though.

OK you guys go debate your bullshit of "Sammy this/Sammy that" on another post somewhere else and lets get back to the topic of this post, "Jason Sides on Wind Tunnel". I think It was great that Dave Despain had a WOO sprint car driver on his show live, it is live TV and isn't that what everyone is always wanting more exposure of? I thought Jason did a good job interviewing, did you hear that he drives his own hauler up and down the highway, and only has 1 or 2 pit guys with him. A driver with a small budget does the whole WOO tour year after year and is a class act guy!
