Gas itself is almost up to $3.80 a gallon and while I haven't paid attention to diesel, I am sure it is up there too. With gas prices that way they are, is this changing your racing as a fan/driver the way it is? Are you teetering yes and no but any higher and your done as a fan or driver?

The bad thing about it is there are alot of special events this year and there are tracks that look like they got their weekly programs together. But the high gas prices are doing nobody any good.

Just wanting to get a feel from both drivers and fans, via vote, on how it is/will be affecting you.

Thanks!

We were already limited on how many races we could go to. With gas prices getting higher, we can't afford to go many places.

With gas and Diesel prices being what they are, and are expected to go up over the Summer months I can assure you it will take it's toll on race teams.

It's like Kenny Mossman said in another post, if Promoters don't cater to their audience there will be no audience to cater too. Promoters need to be careful and aware of their actions.

By the way don't forget to vote for Mick Cornett for OKC Mayor in the next election.

The price of gas is not stopping me from going but I will not buy gas and puchase a ticket to see another DUST bowl and freight train racing. I am thru with Lawton Speedway until they get someone there that knows how to prep a track
