Aleast 3 of those guys on your list never ran with the WoO full time, but yes, they would all be cool to see.
The older I get, the faster I used to be.

Other than owners backed by Cup money, the Outlaw tour has outrpriced just about every car owner in America. Look at a guy like Daryn Pittman. Three years now and he can't get a ride to get back on the tour. Owners willing to dump a million bucks to take in a couple hundred grand for the "love of the sport" are few and far between anymore.

I agree with singlefire and look at guys like Haud... no outlaw ride Full-time. Shane has had his shot as well as TK. IMO both great aggressive racers, but when they come back to "home turf" they are BIG fish in a small pond... With the Oulaws they are SMALL fish in a BIG pond and do not produce the results they should. I am glad that TK thinks (as he stated.. he will beat upon local Cali people and piss a lot of people off ) that might be true, but if that's the case, move on!!!! TK is a "BIG fish" in a small pond around Cali and being that he has ran with the outlaws, he should beat up on the locals in Cali, but there is a reason he does'nt have a FULL outlaw ride..... do I think he is capable with running with outlaws, yes, will he have a chance? Maybe in future, but right now the way his attitude is, he rather beat up on local drivers to boost his confidence.... I guess

I don't know if he has ran full time with the outlaws but I would like to see Gary Wright driving for one of the big car sponsors. Just to see how well he could do with a well funded program. But I do have to agree why would someone spend a million dollars a year to win a couple hundred thousand. Just doesn't make sense?

I don't understand "supposed" fans like yourself. TK racing fulltime out here in California with the new King of the West Series is a GREAT thing for sprint cars fans. First of all he elevates the level of competition thereby making everyone step up there game if they want to beat him. This is a win win scenario for us out here. As for TK being a small fish in a big pond when races with the WoO, he has beat the WoO as a regular touring driver and he has beat the WoO when he was a Cali local before ever touring. He has nothing to prove to anyone, just goes out and trys his hardest to win everytime he hits the track. Would you ridicule Fred Rahmer for the years he won a ton of races in PA? How about Terry McCarl when he was dominating Knoxville? How about Mark Dobmier (spelling?) whooping up on all the regulars in upper midwest. I say the sport NEEDS these guys running local in order to elevate the quality of the competition in their areas and they help keep local racing alive by putting butts in the seats. The world of sprint car racing does NOT revolve around the heavily financed racers of WoO.

While I completely agree with you that the entire Sprint Car world does not revolve around the handful of teams that can afford the Outlaw tour without going broke, some of the drivers you mentioned routinely get killed on this message board for being too "scared" to race with the Outlaws. Rahmer gets ridiculed more than just about any driver on this message board in the ridiculous Posse vs. the World threads that mar this board.
This board have always contained a lot of posters that bash and belittle every driver not lucky enough to have a car owner willing to lose a bundle on the Outlaw tour.
