Hello fans, and as we approach another season I am back at work diligently working for my clients to obtain sponsorship so that they can entertain you the fans and compete at the highest level. Those on here that know me, also know I try to be very creative with sponsors and get fans involved. Companies these days more so now then ever truly want to see increase in their business whether it is through new consumer sales or Business to Business opportunities. Programs have to be created that will realise one or the other or both.
I need your help! Listed below are a few questions and if you can take the time to go through them it will really help me as I send proposals and design programs for sponsors.
1.) What type of sponsors do you think we need in our sport?
2.) What types of offers, promotions or sampling would you like to see that will lend you to purchase a product or service from a sponsor.
3.) Should there be more sponsor booths at races?
4.) Should drivers perhaps at intermission go into the stands and hand out literature or samples?
5.) Should the tracks that hold events assist the teams with their sponsors needs, ie; booths, passing out literature, sampling, etc: (My thinking is yes. If they want good car counts at their shows the teams need the $$ to race so why not be friendly to their sponsors.)
6.) How would you like to be able to participate in sponsor promotions? Online? Texting? Mail in?
7.) If your a business owner would you share that information with a sponsor that can be of service to your company and allow them an appointment to meet with you at your location?
8.) Are you open to receiving e-mails, texts or direct mail with special race fan offers?
9.) Will you be active in contacting and thanking sponsors?
Motorsports has always prided itself in the most brand loyal fans in all of sports. If that is the case then our sponsors should see magnificent returns and be flocking in. In the last few seasons you have seen Hard 8 (on World of Outlaws tour they race locally in OK), R19, 35 Wright Construction and many other 410 travelling teams cease operations. Owners can not continue to shell out all the funds for the teams to go up and down the road. Kasey Kahne and Tony Stewart should not be the only one's that are able to obtain corporate backing. Just look at the the lack of sponsorship for the World of Outlaws sprint car series. Prime example.
Fans this is your opportunity to assist me and let me use this information in proposals. I thank you in advance and should you wish to send me your answers in e-mail please visit www.ideasimagesmotorsports.com and my contact information is available.
