My father, Robert G. Davidson, or AKA Tripcrwn on this board, has passed away. I want everyone to know that he truly enjoyed the sport of sprint car racing, and that this board offered a lot of entertainment and evoked a lot of conversation between the two of us.

I just thought I would let you all know since Sue is going through a lot right now. I will post as I get more information.

Thank you everyone!

I just hope I can instill the love of the sport in my son as my dad did in me. I'm going to miss spending Saturday nights at the PAS with my father. We had some good times watching the "Cowboy" riding the rim off turn two and ripping off slide jobs in turn three.

Unbelievable loss to So. Cal sprint car racing and all of sprint car racing for that matter. His passion was instilled in you Robert and will be passed on to your son. Bob has his favorite car and driver. However, when we were struggling at the end of this year, he still offered to help us and meant it. I will never forget that. We send our thoughts and prayers to your whole family.

So sorry to hear of your loss Robert. Your Dad was such a great fan and his passion is legendary among those who knew him. He was also a super sponsor to many. Most of all, he was a great guy and we will all miss him.

R.I.P. Bob

Sad news ,especially during the holidays. My thoughts and prayers are with Susie and family. I'll miss the good times at the annual fund raiser for the AlexanderTeam and Tony Jones at the Zanzabuku Sports Lounge, Hanging with Bob eating tacos and bench racing was always a high lite of the year for me. Any time Bob had an extra ticket for the Sprints he always had an extra ticket for the big guy that road the Harley . I will miss Bob.

I too never had the pleasure of meeting your father Robert but always enjoyed his posts because of his passion for the sport.

Sincere condolences to you Robert and the rest of the Davidson family. God Speed Trip.

Sue & Robert and the whole Zanzabuku family, we are very sad to hear this terrible news. We were proud and honored to carry the Zanzabuku name on the side of our racecar last season. Bob always had words of encouragement for Jake throughout the year and became a great friends. Thanks for the good times Bob. You will be missed. God Speed!
