The DIRTcar membership information received in the mail has the WoO calendar on it. It has March 16th Placerville Speedway, March 25-26 Silver Dollar Speedway, April 2 Calistoga

Has anyone heard anything from Handy if this is true about Placerville and Silver Dollar having WoO races at the beginning of the year?

I would be happy with those dates! It would almost make up the fact that the WoO are only two days of the Gold Cup this next year.

If thats the case then they are spending a whole month in the west this year. With the 2nd and 3rd of March being a 2 day show in Las Vegas. (Weds and thurs of nascar weekend) On the scrafan.com board someone quoted from SSN saying that there is a West Coast WoO tour including Perris again.

Nice to see all the WoO shows in Cali for the Spring tour. I hear PAS will return as well. How about Ocean & Kings Speedway? They could handle a WoO show.

Placerville will be awesome but where will they put all the people? That track is SRO for the 410 shows. Let's hope that Handy doesn't pull the WoO again for the MGC!!!

OSF, I would imagine, the same place when we used to have the Outlaws there. Nothing has changed. Are you going?

During GSC at hanford could have sworn on the PA they said WoO is coming back. And right after the cotton classic scott woodhouse was saying he has so big exciting news. I think it said it in his signature too.

I wish I could attend these shows but I recently moved to New Jersey .... which isn't too bad as I'm only 2 hours to PA Posse country! Saw some good shows this year at Lincoln, Williams Grove and Grandview.

those are not 2010 dates. look at the calender. also look at the 2010 woo schedule, those are not even close to the 2010 dates. i don't know if the 2011 woo schedule has been released to the public yet. if it has i don't know where to find it. most of the time the first few races of the woo schedule for the coming year are released, to let people know what to expect for the start of the season, then the full schedule is released when everything has been confirmed. i don't know where you get the idea they are 2010 dates. if someone got their 2011 member application or credentials and those dates were listed, i would venture to say they are as accurate as can be for the time being. i am going to guess that the march 18-19 dates could be the mini gold cup. i don't see ocean speedway signing up for a woo race unless woo will give them a date later in the year. racing in the p-ville chico area in march is going to be iffy at best if past weather for that time of year is any indication of things. how many rain outs were there at the beginning of this season in that area? it is still nice to see the races scheduled, i just hope they get them in and we all have some money to go. those are a lot of shows at 50bucks a pop to get in the pits or 40 to get in the stands and then gas and lodging and food on top of it!

to indy and beyond!!

No Placerville. Dirtcar is putting the cart in front of the horse once again releasing untrue stuff. this according to my sources deep within the Placerville community. if i'm right, buy me a beer in Chico.

A schedule at raceimages.net shows Hanford on that date too. It also shows Merced on April 1st.

Geez, I had fun.
