We're following the winged portion of the Western World Championships on www.californiaondirt.com through our message board for those that are interested in how things pan out for California's drivers or others.

Ahhh.... just re-read... sounds like you are not there....
Actually listened on Racingboys...
Yea Trophy Cup is awesome... I gotta get there next year.
Go Kyle Larson....
Since Western World is one of the few wing and non-wing events they should
have a Jesse Hockett Award to the person who does the best in both....?

Was receiving updates from Cox Racing and their site. I'll have to listen to it tomorrow.
Trophy Cup was my first "big" sprint car event. Was raised a stock car or "tin top" (thats for you Randy) fan. I'll be hitting the big sprint car races next year for sure though! I've been converted to a sprint car fan.

Coby Copeland 4th, Shane Cottle 5th, Kyle Larsen 6th. Bud Kaeding flipped on the backstretch on the first lap, he walked away.

Herrera won the non-wing portion and Schatz won the winged race in Tony Stewart's #20. I believe Jack Dover was 2nd and Sammy 3rd.

Correct me if I'm wrong schatz was in a eagle chassis for the race? If thats the case eagle just got a 1 2 finish. I bet that was a first time in awhile. Those cars are getting more and more popular. Whats the story behind them?

That is correct, it was an eagle, might have been smoke's car from last week.

Donny's car looked like one of those cars that Tracy Hines raced a few times in USAC last year.
