Must be an "ex" crew worker who got canned!

Only "10 feet" away. He would have been in Sweet's pit area if he was only 10 feet away so that is PROOF enough for me! Wink

sounds like we have double standards here, because of what darrah did to a guy that it seems like no one likes it was fine, but sweet did something to a semi-popular driver and oh sh*t he should be kicked out for life

Not condoning Darrah's actions but pulling a couple spark plug wires under red a minute after that guy just crashed you out is not quite the same as bringing your car back out on the track later in the night with the sole intention of crashing the other guy. Cody did get suspended by the track(williams grove) for a couple of weeks.

I noticed that Brad Sweet raced last night at Cottage Grove with the World of Outlaws. Does WoO have an appeal process where they can delay the start of a suspension or has something else changed?

KKR appealed the suspension so he can race until the appeal is heard.

What a joke.

Why is this a joke? There is a rule for misconduct that was enforced in this case & there is a rule for appealing such punishment that is now being utilized by the team. This is not a case where there is special treatment of any sort, the right to an apeal is clearly stated in the rule book & the team is taking advantage of it. You may not agree with the rule but it is a rule that all competitors are aware of. In my opinion the punishment was a little stiff for a 1st time offence & wouldn't be surprised or upset if it was reduced to probation only for the remainder of the schedule.

A little stiff eh? It was premeditated. The guy went insane. The guy is dangerous. But he's ok now. He can race. ThisIsFunny!

"Insane" "Dangerous" ???? Are you serious? He is one of the cleanest drivers on any given night & believe me I have been watching him his whole career & he has never been dangerous or out of control. Dangerous is driving through someone at speed as CD did to him in the dash, dangerous is retaliating under green at speed which alot of other drivers have done & would have done in this situation. I don't condone his actions on track that night but I've seen the best in the business loose their cool at one time or another and give it to the guy they are pissed off at. And yes, in my opinion the punishment is a bit stiff for a fist time offence. All these guys are humans & have emotions & sometimes they let that get the best of them.

Maybe Brad should have discussed it with CD in the pits- not dealt with it on the track at all.

Lets get rid of him and not let him race being that he is a mad man that he is.

We have plenty of cars and we really do not need them. KKR can save their money

A driver that gets emotional ,I do not think I ever heard of that before now

And one more thing for MR. Self Righteous "Rail" whos never made a bad decision in the heat of the moment. I find it quite ironic that your signature is a quote from a guy who more often than not whears his emotions right there on his sleave. wink

I didn't say get rid of him, just sit out a race or two and think about his actions. He knew what he was about to do before he ever strapped in. I just think the appeal is a joke, that's all.

He probably will sit out a few races, they just hve to go through the appeal process. If they decide on the appeal within the next week, this could backfire, as he may be sitting out of the gold cup.

When you decide to get off your ass and attend the racetrack right near your home you can have an opinion until then you should really shut your yap. You have one of the finest winged sprint car weekly series in the country just miles from your home and you dont even go watch. Instead you mooch free radio broadcasts from the WoO while real race fans are shelling out their hard earned cash to support local racing. There is no excuse for your lack of support.

Cheers!
