Who is going to go up to Victorville for the Open Show? Who's racing & who's spectating? I'm thinking about going but not sure I want to if there's only going to be 10-15 cars racing. It's just too hot to sit out in that heat for 15 cars. Good luck to anyone going.

The heat up here seems to peak at 4:00 in the afternoon. Then the winds kick in from the south and blow the heat up to Barstow. The evenings can turn out to be pretty nice. Especially when you have the smell of burnt methonal in the air.
I am thinking of making up some sort of incense burner to burn some methonal to help get me through the off season.

Harry's right about the weather..almost no chance of a thunderstorm,no hurricane,no tornado...earthquake or total eclipse?..we'll see...car count ..hard to say...360 guys asked to run without the 410's....the VRA seniors ask to run a race at victorville..the promoter said 'OK'..will they show ..I don't know..If it gets to hot..go sit at the picnic area under the shade trees and enjoy the breeze..considering what racefans across the county endure..Ca. racefans appear to be whimps....cold at Santa Maria,hot at Victorville and Perris.chilly and fog at Ventura...do you really want to miss a great race? I hope not!
