Does anyone know what happened at elk city saturday night? Saw on their website that the race scheduled for aug 21 has been cancelled due to actions detrimental to stock car racing. They feel it is necessary to cancel and let things cool off.

that happened last year about this time. i was there for the ncra race last aug and a driver went up to the flag stand and wanted to start fighting. it was some funny stuff. LETS GO RACIN!!

Fight in the modified race which happen to be someone close to the promotor and problems at the tech line with what should have been a DQ so I think the promotor has had anough. Its a shame that the rest of us have to suffer from childish attitudes.

close to the promoter it was one of the promoters. and what tech thing you talking bout, heard there was a pro with tech the street stock(factory class) is that what your talking bout?? Oh flyin12 heard you was racing and kickin ass.

Everybody gets lucky every now and then. Could have been a prob. with my car in tech! when the inspecter says your legal and sends you to the trlr. then decides he wants to pull carbs do you drive back to tech or pull it off at the trlr?

The tech problem was with a street stock with someone that knows the rules and bent them a little. Tech man said he was DQ and got overruled because of wording in rules. I guess when you know how to cheat and get away with it than its OK.
