I don't know why it took forever to get the car pushed off the 2nd time, nobody can know what's in an officials mind or how many laps the yellow can stay out there but, if you don't think its in Knoxville's interest NOT to have Schatz win a 5th, you're only kiddin yourself. Similar to Napscar wanting for anything for Jr to win a race, accused of throwing yellow debris flags, etc. It affects their bottom line. Schatz wins a 5th Nationals, and after the booing last night by a good majority of the fans and few cheers, even a Knoxville official can see that. Napscar wants the stands full and I imagine so does the Knoxville Nationals. So they run an extra yellow lap, who would know? Joey winning 40 years to the year after his pop Joe won, Kinser winning at age 56 or 57 or ??, then you got happy officials. No one likes a dominate driver year after year for four years. Same thing happened to Jeff Gordon, he did nothing wrong but pizz off the Earnhardt fans, the Ford fans, the Dodge fans, etc. Schatz had the Kinser fans, the Swindell fans, the Mopar fans, etc, in a tizzy for four years. My mom always told me to not swear when in an argument, "you give them the higher ground". After the posts I saw on here last night dissing Schatz, I don't think there is anybody here that could get to the higher ground. But, no swearing anyway.
Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

You work hard at thinking that crap up don't you?
why not a green white checkerd to make sure he don't make?
Or maybe it was a honest race.

Honest, almost honest, honest enough that no one would care except for a few Schatz fans. I had 3 friends from Fargo at the race last night. I talked to all three. Maybe they are biased a little but they told me they couldn'd understand why they didn't push the car as quickly as they did the first time. They did say the loudspeaker system announced that Schatz had a tire going down, and the fans went ape-shiite happy. That in itself shows the I.Q. of that ilk of people, similar to the posts here last night , post after post, Schatz is an azzhole, Schtaz is an azzhole and worse. Disgusting. I'll explain what the bottom line means, if you couldnt figure that out---dollars, next year's attendance, etc. This is the exact same type situation many fans accused Napscar of doing--again the bottom line.

Ten years ago, Sammy was a butthead....five years ago, TMac was a butthead....Winners will always attract their share of haters and conspiracy theorists.....
I'd be willing to bet that almost every driver out there has SOMEONE who dislikes them.....

Had they run 1 more lap beyond what they did already, I think Donny would have ended up on his lid.

How hard is this for you? Really? The damn rulebook says that a green-checkered finish will be used on the second chance to finish a race. Do you not comprehend? They can't change the rules, but they can add extra yellow flag laps because there isn't a rule saying how many there will be.

Hopefully this should put this ridiculous theory to rest. The 69 Mike Moore brought out both cautions. On the secone one he was pushed to the infield almost immediately and straight to his pit...he did not refire. The extra laps were to properly line up the cars for the restart. Since every position means valuable points it is important the entire line-up is correct. had you been watching anything besides Shatz tire going down you would have noticed from about 7th or 8th back, cars were lined up two or three wide until the officials could get them in the correct position.
