Well...Whoopty-doo for my Subaru!! Devoting more than a 3 second spot on Eye Candy to sprint car racing. It's about time. Why don't you kick just 10% of the usual garbage on that show and do something with sprinters??
Yeah, I know. Not enough fan support. You'd rather cater to the folks with 3 teeth who actually believe that Dale Jr. is a race car driver instead of just an ATM.

No kidding Big Slim what baffeles me evan more is how they spend 5-10 minutes a week on motorcycles I would bet everything I own there are more sprint car fans than motorcycle fans that watch that show but motorcycles are Despains baby I think if Robin Miller was hosting that show it would have a lot more dirt stuff and be a better show.

Just my zwei pfennig here, but if people are coming here looking for an accurate impression of sprint car fans, then our entire sport is doomed. With all of the foul language, constant bashing of drivers and other posters, this little corner of our world makes the Hatfields and McCoys seem like deacons of the most holy church you can name.
Constant Pollyanna-ish comments do no one any good. Ever heard of "The squeaky wheel gets the grease"? Not everything is perfect; in our sport or anywhere else. I'm all for putting our favorite sport in a good light, but sometimes you have to call them like you see them. 2 of the previous posters did that, showing their disdain for a lack of coverage for our sport. Personally, I echo their sentiments 1000%! Wind Tunnel is a NASCAR shill, with motorcycles and F1-type racing thrown in to fill out the hour.
As for people contributing to SPEED I think that most of the tracks that run sprint cars have video capabilities (I know that Eagle Raceway does) and would more than GLADLY offer what they have weekly to any network that would give them coverage. But, if it's going to be homogenized and cut down to just showing flips and wrecks, what sort of impression does that give the people who watch it??
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

I think sprint cars need a news source the follows all the major and reginonal races like DirtonDirt.com does for Dirt Latemodels, they have videos/ highlights of complete races and interviews minutes after the race is over. They have a very good thing going wish there could be something like that for sprint cars, if you havent seen it check it out.
