Just posted on IOW board tha Dana is to have emergency surgery tonight at Methodist Hospital. Lets all send our prayers out to the classiest lady in Sprint Cars.

The classiest lady in sprint cars for sure. Christ's grace and peace be with her.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Stevie said the surgery went well and Dana is in the Cardiovescular Critical Care unit.

She had an aneurism which required a ten-hour surgery.

Really glad to hear that she had a successful surgery...praying she makes a full recovery and we see her out maning the Steve Kinser racing apparrel trailer again in the not so distant future...one of the nicest women Ive ever had the pleasure of talking to. She really is the "First Lady" of sprint car racing!!

You will never see it on the long list of wins by The King, but the biggest victory he ever had, is when he won the heart of Dana! She is such a wonderful person, and I'm sure she'll be back at it very soon.
