I think this was a topic awhile back ago but if you had to nominate someone for a Okc racing hall of fame who it would be.

What's the criteria to get nominated? Do they have to be from Oklahoma (born & raised)? Or do they have to have raced X amount of races at a certain track? Do they have to be a former track champion or finished in the top ten?

This was just a hypothetical list. I just wanted to see what people would think.
Personally,. I think to much is made of criteria. If the person or persons influced racing or any sport in some how they should be in a hall of fame.

lol I know what you are saying and technically you are correct.
Well Brian it would have to take a commitee to determine what criteria we would use to have people put in there. What I would think and you would think might be two different things.

This almost sounds like if there was to be a Hall of Fame in Oklahoma, it would only be drivers/ owners that raced at OKC. Thats ok on one hand but what about ALL the other tracks in Oklahoma?
There are drivers/owners that have made an impact in our sport that have not even raced at OKC. So why don't we include all Oklahoma tracks?
Good topic Erich but can we tweak it a little? IMO people would be really surprised and some what impressed of the talent that has ties to Oklahomas' Dirt/Asphalt Tracks...

Like I said it is a good topic.
We all know that if there was one just for OKC it would be huge. I was trying to point out that Oklahoma is more than just a 4 legged horse power state lol. There are hero's in central and All corners of Oklahoma in Racing.
