Wow what a night at the beautiful and newly improved Giant Chevrolet Speedway. I didn't think it was possible to have a better finish than at Thunderbowl last week but IT WAS. Allard took the lead on a restart around lap 5 or 6 and held it all the way till turn 4 of the final lap, two lap cars racing side side gave TK just enough to get Allard loose a little bit and then they drag raced the frontstretch with TK coming out on top. I asked the flagman afterwards how close the finish it was and he said about a "foot". Wow what an awesome finish. The crowd in my section was going bonkers (turn 4). On another note, Giant Cheverolet Speedway has sure stepped up their game. It really is now a beautiful facility, brand new concessions, clean bathrooms and a nice beer booth (with some nice eye candy too!) I thought for sure when I got to Hanford last night it was gonna be a dust bowl since the wind was blowing about 30 mph, but the track went dry slick with just very little dust. All in all what a great night and I can't wait till the GSC returns on June 26th.

Hey OSF, how's life out in New Jersey? I will be up your way in July for the Summer Nationals at Williams Grove!

thanks CVSprintfan. We have worked very hard on getting this place back in good form. I am glad it is paying off.
We look forward to the next one!

Uh.........let me guess. TK was hammer down, on the top of 3 & 4 and went around J Allard on the outside squeezing between Allard and the fence.
Remember that same move at Kings the WoO Opener he won doing the same thing. Does Tim even know what the bottom is like? Nope, didn't thinks so either.
