I don't know but it sounds like a great idea for the raceway.

I marked my calendar for Saturday but I would love to go Thursday and Friday too if my family and I could afford it.

Don't think there is a 3 day pass price. I think it will cost you $85 for the 3 nights. I'm looking forward to Friday. I think, unless something has changed, it's the Masters Classic and a WoO Main event. The WoO guys will only be on the track for an A-Main, but the kicker is that it is going to be a totally invert A-Main from the Thursday night A....Should be wild...

I believe you can get a 3 day pass for $69 if you get them in advance.

First here is the news story from Knoxville's Website. Looks like the deal ended on April 15....?

Second, are you saying that Friday is actually an A-main only event for the WoO? So no other WoO cars are racing Friday unless they made the A on Thursday? Is that right, can someone confirm that? Sounds odd to me.

1 outlaw race all night!! Don't even like the sound of that. Hopefully that is incorrect.

Where did you read or hear it was one race only? If this is the case I am going to reboot to Saturday only! Lot of cash to bring the family up for camping, tix, ect.. for 1 dang race! Hope this is incorrect.

PB... can't remember where I read it (pre-season), but I saw the same thing... inverted feature from the night before for the WoO, and Masters Classic full program. It used to be $20 for the Masters (overpriced, hence the 50 people in the stands), and $30 now... not sure it is worth $10 for one WoO race. I'm guessing they are just trying to put more butts in the seats, 'cause the Masters alone has proven not to do that. Not sure this is the best way to do it, but we'll see!

$30? Maybe if Steve, Sammy, Jac, and Danny all dropped 360s in a back up car and ran the Masters. Even then, that would be a stretch.

Lasoski is running Mark Burch's car in the Masters. One would think that Steve, Sammy, & Jac could round up a car to drive also. ASCS National has a race in OK the same night, so doubtful that Ricky Logan's car will be available for Sammy again... and that will probably take away Gary Wright too.

Order of Events (tentative):

1. MC hot laps
(short break)
2. MC time trials
3. WoO hot laps (first session)
4. three MC heats (7 laps)
5. WoO hot laps (second session)
6. MC 'B' Main (10 laps)
(short break)
7. Knoxville Masters Classic (22 laps)
8. World of Outlaws ‘A’ Main (fully inverted based on Thursday night’s A-Main finish)

Taken from Knoxville site for the Masters Classic

Dang! Well I too might have a change of plans. The Plan was to take the family all three nights as the schedule says WoOs each day. Was looking forward to three full nights of WoO racing, guess we should of read the fine print... Ha!

The bummer thing is we already took time off from work to go. frown

You're right, my bad. Sammy ran Logan's 410 the following night.
