I was wondering about how much it costs to host a regional race? I was looking at the open 360 races at the end of April in WI and wondering who would be there? If it was a NP race I would most likely go, now i may to K'ville for the WoO instead. Also there is an open 360 race in Owatona in June when it could or should be a National ASCS race. Cedar Lake and Owatanna also have N.P races so why arent the other races?

Devin,
An ASCS regional event is just a tad under $10,000 for a (20) car A feature and all ASCS fees. An ASCS National event is about double that.
It all depends on each race tracks budget.
Tommy Estes, Jr. is the ASCS National Director and is in charge of booking the National dates and he is still seeking race tracks to fill the open June dates and will continue to do so...CZ

We really wanted our 360 open show to be a sanctioned ASCS Northern Plaines regional show and tried but Chuck's hands were tied as ASCS blocked out the three weeks around the National tour. Unfortunately, we are a young promoters group here at Steele County Speedway and can't swing the $20,000 + for the National dates YET..... Maybe next year....
I hope to see you in Owatonna sometime this year..

Thanks for both the answers. I plan on going to the Steele co. fairgrounds probably in june on the way to Iowa Speedway, I had just hoped it would be for ASCS. Thanks!!
