Ron Berhagen of the Upper Midwest Sprint Car Series sat down with Stan Meissner from the Midwest Racing Talk website and candidly discussed the success and challenges encountered during the 2009 UMSS inaugural season. Stan puts Ron's feet to the fire and asks about car counts and the promised non-wing racing that never happened in 2009. Ron counters Stan's challenge with a surprise announcement about plans for a brand new non-wing series to debut during the 2011 season with several non-wing exhibitions planned for this season.

In addition to a recap of 2009 Ron looks ahead to the 2010 season, an ambitious 24 race schedule and the new UMSS Micro Sprint feeder series. Find out who the UMSS Rookies are going to be and which veteran drivers will be joining the series. 2010 will be an exciting season for Twin Cities area Sprint Car fans with the UMSS from points north and eastof the Metro challenging the IMCA of the south and west in head to head competition at several exciting events.
