Has anybody been by or heard if Troy has made a decision on what classes or when they plan to run?

Maybe they need to put together a meet and greet or an open house to discuss their plans on racing at the new track. IMO Angle Ridge Race Park is in the drivers seat with their new investment and I wish them well.

Sorry Troy we are all just a little impatient and you will find that out soon enough lol.Wink

Evidently alot of other people are impatient as well as I was out there after I left the trade show and HOOTERS. Ran into Carson in El Reno and he had just been there and was told several more have as well.

It is still in the designing stage and I think Troy said trying to do something in October or November. If not then it will be next year. He wants everything to be done and be done right, not half azzed. The groundwork for the layout of the track is done. With money and time everything else will fall into place.

If it is any indication by his three our four motocross tracks, it will be a really good deal. Lots of space where the track sits.

Just hang tight, it is a work in progress.

Thanks David, Seems like we all need some good news right about now, if it takes a season to get it right so be it.

Thanks, I hope it works out and he has good support from drivers/owners and fans no matter what day they run Friday or Saturday.

Almost forgot he said the banking was gonna be diffrent on both ends. Im thinking he said like

12-15 % on north end and 5-7% on the south end i may be wrong but they where diffrent.

Ive got a suggestion though if you go i really think its easier if you go to Calumet then come in from there. Going threw that Indian refuge takes forever. Its 13 miles from the track to the Calumet Exit.

I was thinking from Edmond or NW OKC it would be shorter to go Kilpatrick turn pike to hwy 3 (nw expressway) go back west to 81 then go south to the casino and follow the signs. I was going to check it out this weekend but mother nature changed my mind..... Frown

Has it been determined what classes he is thinking about running?

Hello everyone this is Troy, the classes I am planning to run are super sprint, 2 bbl sprint, modifieds, limited modified//sport mod and a pure stock class. I will have the rules on Angel Ridges' web-site soon. We are still working on setting up the speedway section of the web-site, I mean they are working on the web-site I'm very slow at this computer stuff. I am trying really hard to have the track race ready by the first of May. Everything will have to fall into place just right. Good Lord willing we'll make it. Around the first of March I think we should do the meet and greet thing at the track and bring your cars, I'll prep the track and we'll do some track testing while you are tweaking on your car. Let me know what you think about doing this.

Troy just curious what time are you planning on starting the race on Friday nights and what rules are you going to run with the two barrels. OCRS or OKC?

Hopefully OKC two barrell rules, since most locals are built that way.

It is just about ten miles northwest of a small indian town called "Concho." Concho is roughly a twenty minutes north of El Reno.

Need some feed back on what time to start the races. With the help of others I have decided to not run the super sprints. We will run the two barrel class with the OKC rules. With running four classes of cars instead of five this should help with the starting time. I realize that some will need a little more time to get around and make the drive out. Just don't want to start so late that moms and dads are having to carry the little ones out all the time.

It is three miles northwest of Concho, it is 6.3 miles from 81 hwy at the Lucky Star. Concho is about eight minutes north of El Reno. Just fine tuning your post David I know you said about and roughly.

I would not start any later than 8pm on Friday. Good call on the classes you are planning to run you can always adjust as the season goes along for next season . Good luck!!!
